Meadow, Cow Feet First Use Fake!

Meadow is the name of a calf the first time in the world who use the two rear legs so he could return false to normal. Meadow leg amputated because the two had his toenails had frostbite (rot due to the rigidity of ice).



The cow who is now 11 months old was found in Agusus ago by Nancy Dickenson and her son in a field grazing in northeastern New Mexico, United States (U.S.). When found, Meadow could barely stand because the two rear hoof rot due to the rigidity of ice. To save the Meadow to be able to walk normally, Dickenson had bought cattle from the owner and immediately brought to a local veterinarian.

Veterinarian, assisted by Colorado State University student, amputate both legs behind Meadow and prepare the appropriate prosthesis with cow bone structure. "Meadow is the first cow in the world that uses two artificial limbs," said Robert Callan, a veterinarian who operated on Meadow.



Dickenson said the operating costs for Meadow prosthetic reach thousands of dollars and paid for by himself and his family. Meadow's name which means meadow Dickenson was given in accordance with the current location of black angus cow was found.

Meadow is now able to run and adjust to other animals in the Twin Willow, Dickenson's farm. When the neighbors asked if it would cut the cow for meat, Dickenson said, "Are you kidding? This new baby."
